Paul Aristoff, Ph.D.
Dr. Aristoff is president and founder of Aristoff Consulting, LLC. Dr. Aristoff received a combined B.A. and M.S. in chemistry from Northwestern University, a Ph.D. from California Institute of Technology, and conducted an NSF postdoctoral research fellowship with Prof. A. Eschenmoser at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. He spent the next 30 years as a drug discovery scientist leading multi-disciplinary research teams and chemistry departments of up to 160 scientists in a variety of therapeutic areas. He is inventor or co-inventor on 30 US patents, including twelve development candidates and three commercialized drugs. He has broad medicinal chemistry expertise, particularly in the antibacterial, antiviral, and oncology research areas. Dr. Aristoff led the chemistry department that originally discovered Zyvox™.
